Participants experience Colonial-American history firsthand. Activities are all hands-on, using authentic materials and methods.

One-Week Daytime Programs are conducted at Yates Mill County Park, Raleigh NC. The program is designed for participants from the First Grade through the Seventh Grade.
Participants cook a meal from scratch each day, with help from the staff. They participate in a full slate of activities, crafts, and stations from the period of the American Revolutionary War.
These activities may include: Colonial Clothing, Candle-Making, Sword-Fighting, Leather Crafts, the Colonial Economy, writing with Quill & Ink, Indian Warpaint, shooting a Flintlock Musket, Marble Making, Soap-Making, primitive Cooking, Colonial Games, Scrimshaw, historic Bookbinding, Colonial Readings, or many others.
