Use the Registration Form to register for this event. The cost is $FEE per participating registrant. The registration fee includes all clothing, accommodations, food, materials, and activities for the entire event.

There is no charge for non-participating children under 5.

During the Encampment, you will wear Colonial clothing, sleep in authentic 18th Century tents, cook all the meals outside over an open fire, participate in numerous Colonial crafts and activities, and experience the lifestyle of a Pioneer family living during the 1770s -- the activities will be age appropriate for all registrants from preschool to senior citizens.

The Encampment will be held at Historic Saint Mary's City, Maryland.

The campsite is at an undisclosed location to the general public. You must use our directions to locate the campsite.

What to Bring

You only need to bring:

  • A sleeping bag
  • Bug spray
  • Sun screen
  • A towel
  • Personal toiletries (shaving cream, razor, toothpaste, toothbrush, feminine hygiene, etcetera)
  • Men wear their own pants (natural fibers only, please; please no shorts, only long pants)
  • Please do not wear synthetic sneakers -- preferably leather shoes
  • We recommend bringing a flashlight
  • Money for the Trading Post (we recommend $5-25 each) for period reproductions -- many items cost only $1
